L# 101-13 Where to begin with this. Set of Japanese salt & pepper shakers. They are in their original. Wrappers with the wonderful details of their origins on the bottom of the wood base.

This is a wedding couple as they stand poised on their wooden base. It appears they where a souvenir of Winona, Minn.

Wood base has a tag on the bottom that states Toshikane China, Art Ceramics, Arita, Japan. Toshikane Company is pronounced "TO-SHEE-KAH-NAY", and was founded mid-1900's. The set is in excellent. Never used with no paint loss or cracks.
