Vintage SWISS army issue salt and pepper cotton sail canvas and leather backpack / rucksack - makers mark A. JURIENS 1965 LE BRASSUS - pack in excellent used condition everything works exactly as it should - everything is original and no repairs have ever been made - still has its inside strings and top cord - lumbar strap and all original metal fittings - all leather is sound with NO dry rot hard spots / firm thick but still flexible - main body measures 6deep x16 wide 20 high about - when open 12x12 circle - has a full wrap 12 inch skirt to opening - 9x10x3 front pouch - build in subframe - the ONLY problem with this bag is some has written on it with a sharpie along the top (see photo) 9x4 inches of area BUT the upside is it's nothing derogatory or offensive (except to those who prefer a clean minty pack) - one could bark over in all black or add some patches. Dimensions: 50 x 40 x 30 cm, weight about 2,7 kg.
