Vintage MCM Garantito Tre Spade Italian Polished Salt & Pepper Mill, Italy

Offering this vintage 100% authentic Garantito Tre Spade polished pewter salt shaker and pepper mill. This mill has a solid wood interior core wrapped in pewter. The top section holds salt and the lower section holds the pepper. The midsection is turned for grinding pepper. This substantial piece is both functional and beautiful.

Polished pewter finish has a warm brilliant shine similar to polished nickel. Made late 1970's/early 1980's. It's a combination mill with salt shaker on top and pepper grinder on bottom. The top twists off to fill the reservoir with salt. Peppercorns are added through the slots in the center section.

Finish can be maintained with soft cloth and gentle polish. Fully marked with "Garantito Tre Spade" stamped on the grinding mechanism base and "Made In Italy" on the cross bar. DIMENSIONS: 3"W × 3"D × 10.5H. CONDITION: Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, Some Imperfections.

CONDITION NOTES: Excellent lightly used condition with minor surface markings consistent with age. Finish has been maintained with a gentle polish. Hardwood interior is clean, free of chips. Salt section threads and pepper grinding mechanism work well. My low opening price is not representative of item value.
