Vintage Japan Christmas Santa on Lanterns with candy cane and gift. Salt And Pepper Shakers 1960. Hand painted details include a Santa on the top of each decorated lantern. One holding a candy cane and one holding a gift.

Holly leaves and berries on the lantern with more detail around the base with red accents. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. A bit of cold paint loss on the Santa holding the candy cane.

Crazing on both commensurate with their age. Really a unique pair and would make a great addition to your vintage Christmas salt/pepper collection!
