Vintage Art Deco Chrome Plate Salt and Pepper Novelty Set Japanese Influence

Unusual, salt and pepper, condonement set. It features a Mt Fuji - like mountain (Japanese influence design) scenery stand with 3 houses. 2 shakers and one mustard pot.

Chrome plated pewter, with cobalt glass inserts and r. The shakers have copper spinning wheels and figural bird pins to hold the roofs (lids) closed.

They have hinged roofs with a pin on the side to hold them in place while in use. The hinges on both houses have been damaged. Also one of the copper bird pins is missing the birds. 7 1/2" x 4" x 2 1/2H.
