Vintage Anthropomorphic PY Cabbage Rose Salt & Pepper withPlate & Jam Pot (Japan)

This vintage anthropomorphic set is by PY. It is called Cabbage Rose. The shakers and the jam pot all have smiley faced flowers on the front. On the back of each shaker and on the top of the pot are unopened rose buds.

The plate also has two matching rose buds on it. There were a few small chips which have been touched up and had a durable sealer applied. Those areas are: the tip of the rose bud on the jam pot, the underside of the jam pot lid and at the right rear of the salt shaker. This vintage anthropomorphic tableware still displays beautifully!! The plate is approximately 5 1/2 inches wide, the shakers stand 2 1/2 inches high and the jam pot is 3 inches high (lidded to the tip of the rose bud).
