Named for the French hamlet near the border of Germany, this intricate pattern displays rococo exuberance with hints of lively German Baroque opulence. &###xA0;This design, introduced in 1897, will enliven traditional table settings for everyday meals and when entertaining.

This classy pair of sterling salt and pepper shakers were made by Gorham in the pattern Strasbourg. &###xA0;The pieces date from the 1940's and they are marked with #1138. &###xA0;The shakers measure 4" tall, 1 3/4" wide, and weigh 2.7 ozt. &###xA0;They are not monogrammed and are in excellent condition.
