Hallmarked silver salt and pepper cruet set or grinders. The silver is assayed in London with the date mark for 1986 on the salt and 1992 on the pepper. Both have the makers mark for MC Hersey and are identical bar the date letter. Both wood lined surrounded by solid silver which will make them wear better and avoid corrosion.

Super quality and fully working. Both really clean inside as well as if never used. The condition is excellent no scratches dents or splits in the silver.

Surface marks on the silver from age and use but no damage, please see the pictures. The mechanisms are Peter Piper so good quality and in clean working order. Plastic for the salt to avoid corrosion and steel for the pepper. They stand 4 inches 10 cm tall and are 1 7/8 inches 4.8 cm wide at the base.

They are in a tissue lined gift box. A lovely top quality pair to grace any table.
