RARE Vintage Vaudeville Dancers Salt & Pepper Japan

RARE Vintage Vaudeville Dancers Salt & Pepper Japan. This is an extremely rare set of ceramic Vaudeville Dancers salt and pepper shakers painted to represent the vaudeville times. The Dancing characters are dressed in red slack, white shirts, black top coat with tails and white hat.

Each carries a cane and sits atop a raised circular base. The base and shirt of each character are accented with gold. As can be seen in the photos, there is paint wear on each shaker with the majority being on the back of each of the coats, with other paint wear on the shoes, hair and faces. The salt & pepper shakers measure approximately 7" tall with 1 1/2" bases and come complete with cork stoppers. One has a black and gold colored "Japan" sticker affixed to the bottom of the base.

As can be seen in the photos, the salt & pepper shakers are in good condition for their age and would make a wonderful addition to your 1950's, vaudeville, rare, unique figural, salt & pepper or other collections.
