RARE Vintage Kreiss & Company Jeweled Toothpick, Napkin & Salt & Pepper Shakers

Offered is a very RARE Kreiss & Company piece featuring a strange looking woman with a candle on the top of her hat. She is holding a tray with holes in it to hold 6 toothpicks. Her dress has slots in it to hold napkins. On both sides of her dress are cut out holes to hold the girls who are salt and pepper shakers.

Strange is the theme of this Kreiss piece which aligns with the strange Psycho Ceramics Kreiss is famous for. This "kitchen" set is in excellent condition!

I see no chips, cracks or crazing! There are a couple of jewels missing though. I believe one is missing on the woman's right eye ad the center of the lower portion of her dress. The jewels are present on both the girl salt and pepper shaker eyes, the woman's left eye, in her cleavage, and one one her cheek to make her look like Marylin Monroe! The woman, excluding the candle, measures about 10 1/2 tall. Her base measures about 6 1/2 wide.

The girls measure about 5 1/4 tall. The woman is marked "Kreiss & Company" on her bottom and the girls have paper "Japan" stickers on their bases. Both girl salt and pepper shakers have their original cork stoppers on the bottom. I'm not positive of the vintage of this piece, but I believe it to be from the 1950's.
