A spectacular and rare Dan Droz pepper mill design classic, unique and much sought after, this example is in excellent condition with very light cosmetic carter from use. Very limited Lauffer production designed by Dan Droz. This is a combined pepper mill and salt shaker, the same format as most of the Quistgaard mills of this era. The very limited number of Droz designs are a terrific compliment to the work of Quistgaard, Nissen, Cyren and others.

This mill has a wonderful patina on hardwood similar to teak, possibly Cherry wood. It is signed "Lauffer Dan Droz Designs "75. Unique sculpted all wood stoppers, which fit snuggly and remove easily. All metal Peugeot grinding mechanism, fully functional.
