POLITICAL ELEPHANT & DONKEY Salt and Pepper Shakers CERAMIC ARTS STUDIO

POLITICAL PARTY MASCOTS REPUBLICAN ELEPHANT & DEMOCRATIC DONKEY SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS. They are Porcelain, hand painted with great details, very comical faces and cute poses. Elephant is 3-3/4"tall, 4" wide, 2-1/2" long, Donkey is 3-3/4" tall, 2-1/4"wide, 3"long. Both are in MINT condition , NO chips, cracks, or crazing, NO paint loss or fade, NO scratches or rubs, and NO shine dulling. They have no corks, as CAS shakers did not have corks. Both are fully marked'CERAMIC ARTS STUDIO', and both have the political'REP' and "DEM" on their bottoms.

Unique and hard to find, they are a very comical and cute display! The set is shown on page 122, in the 2003 "Ceramic Arts Studio, The Legacy of Betty Harrington". I will describe and list any defects I find, but as all are old, there may be some scratches or rubs in the paint, or some paint fade or missing spots that I may miss in the description - look closely and enlarge all the photographs. I do not want you to be unhappy and return items. I will do my best to describe items, but if you have questions, please ask.
