Opaline Brocade #125 on Ribbon Tie Mold; aka Spanish Lace. Salt and Pepper Shaker Set. Vaseline Opalescent; Canary, Yellow Opalescent. Antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) c. Measurements: 3" high without the lids and 2 3/8" outer diameter.
Weight, prepackaged: 7.3 oz as a set. The shakers were created using the stuck-up method leaving a rougher rim which was ground. The balance of both shakers are free of chips, cracks and fleabites.
There is a production flaw on the mold seam of one, which is slightly indented, not uncommon, but worth noting. There are no notable marks from use and storage.
The interiors are exceptionally clean with no residue or mineral deposits. The bottoms have light shelf wear as expected. The glass is wonderfully clear with a strong glow under UV light. The lids are period with small dents and antique patina.The shakers are on the Ribbon Tie mold which features a band of small beads on the neck with 3 embossed ribbons.
