Bargain John's Antiques has been in business in the same location for 50 years. We specialize in American Antiques from 1840 to the 1920's. Quality that has been our mission statement since we began. This is a set of Mt. Washington melon design salt and pepper shakers that have enameled flower designs. There is a soft yellow and tan color tone on the two shakers. The shakers measure 2 1/2 in diameter and stand approximately 1 3/4 high. This set is then displayed in a signed Meriden Company Silver Plated quadruple holder. Note how the molds of the melons fit perfectly into the holder.

What a fun display this makes together. The holder measures 5 1/2 high and is approximately 5 1/4 wide by 2 1/2 deep. The threads are still there for removing the tops on the shakers, and you can remove the tops easily, however there is some extra white substance that we have taken a photo of that someone has added over the years. This is a beautiful set with matching holder and you will not want to miss adding this set to your antique salt and pepper collections!
