The Thorn Collection is inspired by the stem of a rose. Strikingly elegant, but treacherous to the touch, a rose thorn is symbolic of both passion and protection.

As the pernicious thorns protect the delicate beauty of the bloom, we are reminded that everything beautiful, however determined, needs safeguarding. For me, these'Thorn' pieces feel seductive and dangerous, while at the same time exude so much charm with a sense of fantasy. I love representing natural forms in my work which are often ignored or discarded.

These retired shakers have never been used and are still in the original box with literature. Excellent addition to your collection or home decor!

Salt shaker measures approximately 3 1/2 tall. Pepper shaker is slightly shorter at 3 1/8. Imperfections are only the result of the hand made process.
