A superb Hornsea pottery Owl form cruet set complete with original stoppers. The design is by the increasingly collectable John Clappison and dates to the late 1960's. Scarce Hornsea Pottery Owl Form Cruet Set / Ornament - John Clappison Design - c. A scarce Hornsea Pottery stylised Owl design cruet set / salt and pepper, in green, and complete with original stoppers.

This could clever and desirable design by John Clappison could easily be used as a retro ornament. The Owl's are unmarked but instantly recognisable.

10.5cm high, 6.5cm wide (maximum). In good condition without the usual chips to the ears - for accuracy there is what appears to be a crazing line to the side of one, this can be felt with a fingernail and is shown in picture three - the Owl on the left of the photo. All items will be well packed and securely boxed.
