What can I say about these gorgeous depression era shakers? I think its quite the miracle they have stood the test of time and can be enjoyed nearly 100 years later. You will receive these 1930s Vintage Rare Anchor Hocking Fired On Jadeite Sugar Flour Salt Pepper Shaker set. They are in amazing condition as most I have seen have very worn words- these are in great condition and are still crisp for the most part.
Just to give you an understanding if you are not familiar with the term fired on these are a glass shaker with jadeite color fired on to the outside- a popular method in the depression era. This makes them super rare and you just wont find a full set like this very often. The only flaws I can see are the lids are a bit banged up and the salt and pepper are a little dirty and there may be tiny paint missing/rubbed off here and there. Lots more rare pieces listed so come see! The item "1930s Vintage Rare Anchor Hocking Fired On Jadeite Sugar Flour Salt Pepper Set" is in sale since Sunday, February 2, 2020.
