I've always been curious as to who made the first set of cupcake girls. As far as I know this lovely set is the only set of it's kind imported by ESD Lefton. Not a series like Enesco. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I would love to know for sure! This set is in excellent vintage condition! I see no chips, cracks, repairs or visible crazing on this set.

Slight crazing observed under a magnifying glass. Beautiful faces with rosy pink cheeks, winking eyes and long lashes. Both stand approx 3 1/4" tall by approx 2 14" wide. One girl in yellow, one in pink cupcake dresses, pink bows and both are carrying pink roses. There's also a little flower on top around the shaker holes.

The ESD label is on both, stamped Japan on the yellow girl with a stamp that reads OT2566. Both original stoppers are intact.

Would make a great Christmas gift for someone special! Have a great holiday season!
