Super hallmarked silver salt and pepper cruet set or grinders. The silver is assayed in London with the date mark for 1990 on the salt and 1991 on the pepper with the makers mark. For C J Vander Ltd.

Both engraved with a family crest of a griffin which by association is possibly Welsh but would need some research. They are engraved S & P to the tops for ease of identification.

The condition is excellent no scratches dents or splits in the silver which is layered over a plastic centre to avoid corrosion. Light surface marks from age and use as you can see in the pictures. Mechanism by Peter Piper so good quality and working order. They've been stripped down and cleaned to ensure they're in good order. They stand 4 inches 10 cm tall and are 1 7/8 inches 4.8 cm wide at the base.

Perfect for the dining table or for a picnic hamper. They are in a tissue lined gift box. A lovely top quality pair to grace any table.
