Welcome to A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds. Ruth Van Tellingen Pink Pig Snuggle Hugs.

Here's what I know. Known as Sunggle-Hugs or Huggers the pink pig design is extremely rare. Only two of these have come up for sale in the last 11 years - a must have for the serious salt & pepper collector. When: Early, mark dates these to 1947 -1951. Made by Regal China Company of Antioch, Illinois, production began 1947. Designed by childrens book illustrator Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel (d Mar 1986). Designed with new features to help the consumer, so that both can be picked up at the same time with one hand, and the salt and pepper dispensed without fear of dropping them.

No chips, dings, cracks, or hairlines and they still have their original. Colors are brighter and darker than pictures show.
